Introduction

Listeria monocytogenes is a rare cause of mainly endogenous endophthalmitis with a potentially unfavourable functional and structural ocular outcome [1]. In the limited number of reported cases, intraocular listeriosis showed similar clinical features including typically elevated intraocular pressure and fibrinous anterior chamber reaction with poor visual acuity outcome [1], [2].
